I am Heather McLeland-Wieser – mom, wife, sister, retired genealogy librarian and administrator, knitter, reader, walker and traveler. I’ve been actively doing genealogical research for about 30 years and regularly attend conferences, institutes and classes of all types. I strive to meet the Genealogical Proof Standard. However I am aware that earlier research, especially on the Wieser family of Germany and Iowa is lacking in documentation. Working on it.
